I have been having a super hard time with Irwin at Perdition, which has really been frustrating me since the game looks like so much fun. I can't really find his voice or his niche.

But... I managed to snap up a hold on Andrew Kirke. So my current plan is to make a character I feel more comfortable with, and I'll probably drop Irwin because he'd dead weight on the cast list. I really love his PB... but not much else about him. I think that sadly his PB is the most enjoyable part of the whole character, and I can just recycle PBs later. ;_;

I'm thinking about rehashing Rory (chordophonic) because he's such an easy character to play.

I don't think I have the nerves for Bioshock. I'm only 15 minutes in and all I can think is "OH GOD PLEASE STOP TALKING I CAN'T TAKE IT". Seriously, who the fuck thought of talking zombies. That is so terrifying. ;______;

For those of you who don't know, Bioshock is a survival horror game, where the "zombies" retain semi-sentience and continue to talk/scream/cry/chatter to themselves and to you while they viciously attack. You can hear them talking to themselves in the distance as you wander around. And man, it is so creepy. So very, very creepy.

On the other hand, the game is gorgeous and lots of fun if you have a masochistic streak. 8D

I am so sick. D:

I caught some sort of stomach flu that hit me right about midnight new year's eve and kept me from sleeping all night, and it's been downhill since then. Yesterday I felt alright, though, and I thought it was done with, but today my stomach is in so much pain. I didn't even remember anything was going on in BL until Alya mentioned it to me, and I'm worried that I'll be too sick tomorrow to participate in Perdition's opening. It's very frustrating, and I feel like such an irresponsible loser already.

I've stopped puking today, but my stomach is in so much pain that I can't stand up straight and I'm just kind of hobbling around my apartment. :| I'm probably going to shower and try to take a nap. I had planned on going to play D&D tonight, but that's looking less likely. All I'm really going to be able to do is writhe in pain and feel nauseous when people talk about food.

On a nicer note, my parents came and took care of me the past couple days and made me stay at their place. They're so nice to me. I adore my parents. They do way too much for me, and I really really hope neither of them caught whatever I have. :(

MY FINALS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER.

Which means I really, really seriously and truly need to catch up on BL and jump in. I know I will love it if I can just get over my shyness. I'm full of second character ideas (a DE and a Werewolf) but I need to get a good grip on Justin before I even think about that. D: Anyway, that is my project for the next week.

I'm just still kind of in shock, because I'm so used to having tons to do every day. So now I'm just sitting around staring blankly at the computer screen going "...".

SO, if any of you BL types have advice for me on how to jump in, please tell me. ;3;



In RL news: Today, though, I need to FINALLY finish my Christmas shopping. I only have something for my brother so far, but I can get my mom and ~*people of special interest*~ done today.

Aaaand I am going to go get my hair cut this morning with my favorite stylist!!!! I have a stylist. That makes me feel so girly and snooty. 8D

Mind With Canned Chatter

Sorry to everyone that I've been completely unresponsive recently. I caught some sort of sickness thing, and it's made me really lethargic. All I've been doing is sitting here staring at my computer screen, and my weekends are so demanding that I don't know when I'm going to get a chance to recover. DDDDD: Hopefully I'll get to sneak in a nap today or something and Sunday/Monday I can be active in games.

I felt bad that Tom caused Chelsea so much trouble, so I drew something as an apology since my character is too spineless to try and fix things. XD ANYWAY. YEAH. SO.

Tom is a horrible person.

Even though he really is feeling awful about what he just started, and he's full of self-loathing over it, he's just such a jerk. I really hate people like Tom. I'm enjoying playing him, but he is really horrible AND I'M SO SORRY, CHELSEA. ;_;
